Long ago, a litter of five wolf pups was born. But these were no pups. It was soon learned that four of the pups could command the forces of nature. Flint, the elder brother, could control the earth; Ash, the eldest sister, had fire under her command; Sirocco, the youngest brother, wielded the power of wind; and Marina, the youngest sister, could call upon the power of the water. Only the middle sister, Lily, seemed to be an average wolf. As the pups aged, the four "elemental" pups, as their pack came to call them, began to bicker about which was strongest. Eventually, this feud ripped the four apart, each going their own way, and forming a new pack for themselves. Over time, they realized that their own pups had inherited their elemental prowess, and some had powers other than controlling the element they were born with. When these four packs grew strong, they went to war with each other. For years, they fought, until finally the elementals managed to settle things with each other. Though they still mostly remained divided by their elements, there was peace among the wolves for many years.
Just recently, however, a new kind of elemental has been found. Unknown to her siblings, Lily was not average. She had the power to control the plant life around her. While their cousins battled, Lily's descendants, the plant elementals, lived peacefully, their existence unnoticed by the others. Now they have revealed themselves. But what changes will this bring to their world?
