Ancient History

[Cyriaca Artemis]

During this time there was only one Kingdom ruled by one human Lord. He was the one who ruled over all his common folks who lived in a village down below from his castle. Humans had to go back in their times after their technologies had pushed them too far that they almost destroyed each and every one of them. There are only a few pockets of humans left. They have to relearn how to grow their food as farmers and work together to continue to strive. Mother Nature has taken back much of their lands leaving humans in a second sort of dark age. It was here that humans were starting to become happy once again. They had band together with their similar grieve over what had happened and the old days of families having to stick together was starting to return. Children were going outside much more and helping out with their parents on farms or shops that their families owned. They might have appeared to go back to the dark ages but they still carry their views.

At this time the human leader at the time was Lord Carpus. He had a beautiful wife, Lady Melaina. Lord Carpus was a strong leader who took care to make sure that his people were pleased. After all he knew from the history in the past with humans that a leader who does not care does not last very long. Besides Lord Carpus did not want more to happen to the humans. They had almost lost everything. While Lady Melaina was pregnant with the first child Lord Carpus was starting to have problems with in the kingdom. Apparently there were children who appeared to be a little different from other human children. Strange things sometimes happened around them. Fires started by no reason. Down pour of rain non-stop for days on end when just a few minutes before there was not a cloud in the sky. Plants growing better then any one elses. They were strange coincidence and something the Lord was going to stick by.

Of course the Lord was choosing to be ignorant. Lady Melaina soon gave birth to twin boys. Little Nikolaos and little Ariston were the names given between the two little boys. The two twins looked very much alike with one another. The two boys may look very much a like but however they were far from the same personalities. Nikolaos was the more quiet and reformed brother while Ariston was full of energy and could not stop and sit still for more then a few minutes. The two boys were nothing a like personality wise but got along completely. Lord Carpus could not be happier with his boys that he had with his beautiful wife. He had turned away from the questions about some of the children in the village and kept his attention on Ariston and Nikolaos. As time moved on more and more children were starting to realize that they were different from those around them. The Lord was choosing to ignore this problem saying it was nothing but coincidence in till his own boys were also ones with the same problem. Even though his own boys now were showing him that there was something different about some of the children he was still choosing to be naive. Instead Lord Carpus just turned his attention away from his boys as well.

Loosing the attention of their father, Ariston and Nikolaos had decided they were going to stick together. There was one thing that they had in common was that they both had a curious nature. They had decided to try and explore what was different about them. Ariston found out that he had the talent over water while Nikolaos had the talent over fire. The two boys developed their little special gift and as they continued to grow into young adults they were trying to help others coop with the thought of being different. Of course this brought great resentment from their father the Lord. Hearing about his boys little plan he had sent to put up a stop to it. He had decided that the children with the special gifts over different elements were not normal and should be made out casts. Starting with his sons. This had started everything to fall into pieces.

Ariston and Nickolaos were starting to have arguments with one another both having their own ideas on how thing should be handled. Lord Carpus wanted to have all the problem children to be removed from the village so that everything could go back to normal. Lady Melaina did not agree with her husband unlike many of the humans down in the public. She helped her sons along with many of the other young adults and children to go into hiding. Ariston had broke off from the kingdom bringing with him all those who had power over water, air, and plants who followed him to form the kingdom Agatha. While Nickolaos went off with those who had control over darkness, fire, and rocks to form the new kingdom Akakios. This then stood the standings of three kingdoms who do not have much respect for one another. Lord Carpus's kingdom, Damon were of normal humans who wanted nothing to do with those who had special little gifts over the elements. Who wanted the elements humans to be dead and never seen again. Nickolaos and his people were holding such hatred towards the normal humans for what they had done. His heart was darkening with each passing day along with his people. Ariston was a little more forgiving but did not hold much tolerance for humans. He still did not want anything to do with the humans along with his people. However he does not want harm to come to the humans that Nikolaos might cause.
